Cara Muscio is the Marine Agent for Rutgers Cooperative Research and Extension. She will primarily serve Monmouth, Ocean, and Atlantic counties, developing educational and outreach programming in Marine Water Quality, Watershed Management, and Recreation. She will also work in collaboration with watershed, recreational, marine trade and other groups active on the Jersey shore.

Several projects are currently underway, including research on disposal of expired marine flares, a Jersey Shore Coastline web site, and a shellfish restoration project in Barnegat Bay.
